Jenn Martin is the newest addition to Otter Creek’s staff as one of the youth ministers. Jenn is originally from Dothan, AL; War Eagle! She graduated from Harding University in 2009 with a degree in social work. Jenn’s experience includes involvement with K-Life Youth Ministeries, as well as a youth internship at Westwood Church in Albany, GA three consecutive summers. In addition, she also worked with Hope Cottage in fundraising and domestic violence awareness, volunteering as a social worker for Hospice Home Care in Conway, AR. While on sabbatical between graduation and this big move, Jenn volunteered with a local high school’s theater program and counseled at a pregnancy crisis center.
Jenn loves working with teens and watching them grow deeper in the Lord as they serve and love those around them. She got here by “expecting the unexpected” and looks forward to watching the same in Otter Creek’s teens. She loves to drink coffee with friends, cook, and be creative through projects and theater. Jenn is single, but enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, Sydney, Nora, Eli, and Isaac.
