As Associate Minister, Doug's responsibilities include encouraging the participation and involvement of members in Small Groups and the development of Adult Education programs. In addition, he provides leadership for Local Outreach and Urban Ministries with focus on serving the Nashville inner city. Doug’s responsibilities also include facility and construction projects.

Doug enjoys reading and spending time camping and hiking in the outdoors. He and his wife Jean have two children, Lauren and Houston.
